- Security for the City of Sheboygan Police Department (Flood Disaster)
On August 6, 1998, the City of Sheboygan experienced the most devestating flooding from torrential rains is has ever experienced.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you and your entire department for both the manpower and the additional equipment provided during our time of need.
The spirit of cooperation, teamwork and resourcefulness was truly remarkable and I believe that spirit is directly responsible for minimizing injury to the point where it was virtually nonexistent. the acts of heroism too numerous to address in this letter and the willingness to get involved were something to behold.
On behalf of the entire Sheboygan Police Department, again, thank you and we look forward to working with you in the future.
William D. Eichmann Chief of Police
