Our Mission:
The mission of Special Operations Detective Agency (SODA) is to provide security, investigative and process serving services to all area businesses as well as to the public within the guidelines of the Wisconsin State Statutes.
In pursuit of this mission, Special Operations Detective Agency will, to the best of its abilities:
- Provide affordable and quality alternatives in security for the public.
- Work together with all local law enforcement agencies.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for its clients, the public and their property.
- Strive constantly to increase our knowledge about crime and criminal behavior in order to be more effective in accomplishing our mission
- Treat all staff and members of the public with respect, courtesy and professionalism.
- Encourage our staff to continue their education and training in the criminal justice field.

Matt Elliott, owner and president of Special Operations Detective Agency (SODA) has been involved in law enforcement and security since 1976. He is a State of Wisconsin Department of Justice certified trainer and former adjunct instructor for Lakeshore Technical College in the areas of law enforcement, corrections and security. Mr. Elliott is a (retired) Lieutenant with the State of Wisconsin Department of Correction as well as a former Wisconsin certified police officer and department trainer.
SODA has come to be known as the
region's leading security and patrol service. Our security force, trained
by company instructors in the most current safety and security measures,
will be where you need them - in your store, your manufacturing plant,
at your festival or event - wherever they are needed.
SODA officers are recruited from many areas and backgrounds. We hire police science and criminal justice students as well as police, sheriff, and corrections officers.
SODA officers are not just a warm body in a uniform. They have been trained to think through each situation as it arises and to act quickly, safely and efficiently.
SODA has been the leader in training and supplying quality security
officers since 1992. .
SODA, ever conscious of the need for new and innovative approaches to fight against crime, added a K-9 unit to its operations in 2005. Both Matt and Nina Elliott are trained handlers and are anxious to demonstrate the skill and ability of Alpha and Omega.
SODA is committed to the community, evidenced by the careful restoration of our headquarters, an historic Georgian structure designed and built in the 1920s to serve as a community bank. Its dignity and refinement, strong infrastructure and imposing lines is a reflection of the corporation it houses.
